YCAGA 2017 Interclub Championship Tournament Format:18 Holes: Six players from each participating YCAGA member club play a stroke play format with the best four scores, plus the better ball score of the six counting towards the team score. Individuals may enter separately to compete for the individual prizes and earn War of the Roses points and player of the year points. Individual prizes based on individual gross scores are awarded. Eligibility: Must hold a current handicap at YCAGA member club .or be a resident of York County with a current USGA Handicap issued by a USGA Certified Club.
BREWVINO'S York County Senior & Super Senior Championship (NOTE NEW FORMAT AND ELGIBILITY) Tournament Format: 36 & 18 Hole: Individual stroke play with two divisions (Senior 36 Holes & Super Senior18 Hole). Each Division will have their own Champion. The Senior Divisionwill play from the championship tees. Super Senior Division must be 65 years old and will play from the forward tees. This dvision will have age brackets based on the number of entries. Senior player of the year points will only be awarded in the Senior Division only. Both divisions will have gross and net prizes. Eligibility: Must have a verifiable USGA Handicap. Limited to the following: Member of a YCAGA Member Club, York County Resident, Lancaster County Resident or a member of club belonging to the Harrisburg District Golf Association. be at least 50 years of age (Senior Division) and at least 65 years of age (Super Senior Division) on the day of the tournament.
Quality Digital Office Technology York County Amateur Championship Tournament Format: 36 Hole: Individual stroke play over 36 holes with the field being cut to the low 40 and ties after 18 holes. Those not making the cut will receive a $25.00 credit toward one of the next three YCAGA events. The York Open, Mid Am, or Champion of Chmapions. Eligibility: Must hold current handicap at YCAGA member club or be a resident of York County with a current USGA Handicap issued by a USGA Certified Club . (Field is limited to 120 players. Field will be determined by the low handicap indexes. (Full refund for those not making the starting field).
APPLE AUTOMOTIVE York County Girl's Junior and Junior/Junior ChampionshipsBoy's Junior and Junior/Junior Championships TOURNAMENT: The Junior Championships will consist of 27 holes. There will be a cut after 18 holes with the lowest scores continuting. Both Junior Championships will award additional prizes in the age brackets 15-17 and 13-14 for those players who do not advance to the final 9 hole round. The girls will be playing from the gold tees and the boys from the designated YCAGA tee markers (approximately the White tees). An overall winner in both the girls and boys championships will be crowned at the end of competition. The Boy's Champion will be given a lifetime invitation to the YCAGA Champion of Champions Tournament (a handicap index of 30.0 or less is required).ELGIBILITY: The Girl's Championship is open to girls only. The Boy's Championshiip is open to boys only. Players must be residents of York County or members of YCAGA clubs who have not reached their 18th birthday by the tournament date. The applicant must have a USGA handicap or must submit a minimum of 5 nine or 18 hole scores that are attested by another individual and the tournament committee will compute an index for them. Good sportsmanship and proper dress are required. Junior/Junior Championship age 12 & underThe lowest 9 hole score is the winner. YORK/LANCASTER/HARRISBURG County Mid-Amateur and Summer Classic ChampionshipOpen to all amateur golfers no restrictions Tournament Format: 18 Hole: Individual stroke play both gross and net. Two Tournaments in one event. Mid Am age 25 and above - Summer Classic - No minimum or Max age. Those in the Mid Am are automaticalll entered in the Summer Classic. Eligibility:No restrictions open to all amateur golfers. Eligibility: Current or past champions in one of the following areas. Member Club Champion, Senior Club Champion , YCAGA Senior Champion, York County Amateur Champion, Mid-Amateur Champion, Champion of Champions, Current or past YCAGA Junior Champion. Must be at least 60 years of age on the day of the tournament to play in the Super Senior Division.
